Chapter 61. Darco

The moment my eyes fell on him, I felt a chill run down my spine. Darco, the infamous dark Alpha exuded a power that I could not explain. It was palpable, even from where I stood. 

He looked almost exactly as he looked when I had seen him in that nightmare the first time and when I had been confronted by him in the bathroom. His piercing gaze, sharp and predatory, was locked on Zach, but I could feel the weight of it settling on me as well. 

His hair framed his chiseled face, and he sat on the throne with an air of superiority, as if he ruled not just the pack, but everyone who dared to enter his domain. He sat there as if he owned the world and everything in it. 

Alpha Zach stepped forward, his posture stiff with tension. His fists were clenched, but his face remained calm–almost too calm. “Darco,” he greeted, his voice steady yet laced with an undercurrent of anger.
