Chapter 13. Lexus Car
8th day in June, Sunday morning
Mr. and Mrs. Mark were seated on a couch in the sitting room, watching the news on the television.
"Why is he not coming down soon?" Mr. Mark asked in concern.
"I don't know. I should probably go get him. He becomes a sleepyhead on weekends," Mrs. Mark answered and stood up.
"He is your son," Mr. Mark muttered lowly in a monotone voice.
"Wait, what are you going to say to him when you see him?" Kavinsky's Dad asked just before his wife left.
Mrs. Mark held her jaw with her thumb and her index finger in thought.
"I have a plan," she said all of a sudden and ran up the stairs.
Mrs. Mark arrived at Kavinsky's doorstep and banged loudly on it.
"Urghhh!" Kavinsky's groan could be heard from inside the room.
His mom continued to bang at his door loudly, and he turned around on the bed. He took his quilt and covered himself with it before using the pillow to cover his ears too. He finally stood up a
