"What's going on?" I asked my brother, but he didn't want to answer. I insisted for him to tell me. Jake had just left the room where they had placed Lena. I noticed she was suffering from pain, but I didn't think the doctors would decide to admit her.

"What's happening, Jake? Tell me!" I pleaded.

Jake turned around to look at me.

"What do you want, Dean?" he snapped.

"I want to know what's happening with Lena. What did the doctors tell you?"

"They said they have to run some medical tests. She'll spend the night here. Lena woke up almost screaming in pain. They had to sedate her to calm her down." His tone was not to my liking.
