Gen had considered sending a text asking Dom not to bother sending his driver at all. That, or just pretending she didn’t know someone was here for her when they arrived and burying her head under the covers. None of that was going to happen, however, and that was because there was a Tiana in her life.

Now, here she was putting the final touches to her hair in front of the mirror. She was dressed in a green cowl neck silk blouse with lantern sleeves and her favorite black high-waisted jeans. She had paired these with her ankle boots, a simple necklace, and her large silver hoop earrings. Her hair was in a high bun today. She really didn’t want any heat application. She wanted her natural curls.

Stepping back to check the final look, she nodded. She looked good, like business but not too dressy. These jeans did a thing to her legs and hips, and she loved it. If she was going to fight, she might as well look pretty while at it. Just in time, there was a knock on the door.<
