Alexander drove to a random spot, parking neatly like a perfectionist. The car was arranged in a perfectly straight line, not a single inch out.
Despite her tense self, Jane found herself slowly clapping at his skill. “You’ve really outdone yourself.”
She wasn’t one for sarcasm; that was usually Isabella’s thing, but Jane borrowed it in this instance.
Speaking of Isabella, she was thrown back painfully to reality.
Jane used the chance to take a proper look at the space, and to say she was majorly disappointed would be an understatement.
Jane was no psycho killer or an obsessive stalker or both, but truthfully speaking, she had watched a ton of horror movies, and this was just disappointing.
She scoffed aloud, gaining the attention of the officers and detectives.
