Chapter 94. Sad Discoveries

Isabella turned back to look at Peggy behind her, holding her breath with wide frightened eyes before she opened the door slowly. She peeped and looked round with her eyes. She did not see anyone at first.

She began to think they had been mistaken about someone being at the door and was about to turn to Peggy and tell her so when the figure appeared right before her. The two women screamed in fear, backing away and almost falling over each other.
