Chapter 93. Hard to Take In

Isabella paced around restlessly in the living room. She would sit at intervals and stand up to continue pacing after a while.

After her father had gone and she was left alone, she began to soliloquize and think about a lot of things. Maybe she should have been a little patient with her husband and even if he had shouted at her , she should have known he did not mean it.

She noticed how he had rushed out of the house but she was too upset then to care. Now that she felt better, she wondered what must have made him leave like that. She tried calling him but he was not picking up.

Could it be he had stepped out to clear his head? She could not really tell. Thinking of he left in a hurry, it should have been something that prompted him. She chided herself for not attempting to find out what had happened and he did not tell her either.
