Chapter 99. Shocking Revelations

Isabella looked up at Alex and peered into his worried face curiously. His face was drawn into a deep frown while he spoke to whoever it was on the phone he was speaking with. She waited patiently during the conversation and soon enough, the call ended.

“What is the matter?” she asked him, moving close. The frown had not left his face. In fact it had deepened and his brows creased in thoughts.

“What is it?” Isabella asked again when she did not get any response from him.
