Dalett broke the silence, and Selena turned to face her. She let out a sigh. "Last night, guys, was the worst night of my life." I’m not sure how to put it, but I told you once that a wolf appeared to me in the school bathroom mirror, right?" They both nodded as she continued. "During yesterday’s red moon, the wolf returned, and I assumed its form."

Dalett suddenly burst out laughing. "I find it difficult to believe you would make up a story like that." Look, we believed you when you said you were bitten, and then you abruptly left without telling us where you were. And now you’ve taken on the appearance of the Wolf you saw in the mirror? There is a better story you can tell than that."
