What would he do if she left him for Dracula?It was kinda clear she might if he didn’t blow his wad right now. Yet, his feelings towards her exceeded what she wanted in this relationship. Well, if he could call it that. She certainly didn’t see what was between them as a relationship. It seemed like a friendship rather than anything else.
“I feel something for you I’ve never felt for any other, Lilith.”
His gaze pinned to hers. And he meant it. But if Lilith remained indecisive, he shouldn’t press further with her. She had to meet him halfway if this would ever work between them.
She let out a breath. It wasn’t a noise Demetrese wanted to hear from her because that meant she bordered on frustration.
“Make love to me—please?”
“What? Are you serious, Lilith?”
“Yes.”
She was there. Right there for Demetrese. Pliable. But, yeah. He winced. Biting his lip in front of her.
“No.”
She let out a whimper.
