Chapter 38. Destiny and Fate Collide
If Lilith were human, she probably would have allowed herself the nervous pleasure of biting her nails. Alec was out there with no knowledge of what he was or what he could do. The only certainty in all of it was she had a good idea of where Alec fled. Lilith didn’t spend days stalking him for nothing. She should convince him everything would be all right, but it was best to stay among the shadows, not reveal her presence to him until she was sure of his intent toward her.
