Chapter 5

“You must purchase a pig that is in the perfect size; not too big, not too little.”

It took Michail no more than an hour to reach the market, where it was still quiet, and only a few stalls were set up and ready. He immediately found the perfect size, wrapped a thick rope around its neck, and carried it towards the sea.

“Prepare a tub where the pig will fit. Fill the tub with water from the ocean and accompany it with at least five seashells; make sure to choose the most beautiful ones you can find in a short timeframe.”

Michail was able to borrow a clay p*t from a nearby household, who was more than happy to lend it to him for an offering. They were even more pleased to find out it was an offering for the goddess Aphrodite.

And so, he quickly filled the giant p*t with seawater as the pig sat quietly near him, the rope tied around a thick bark that would keep the animal from escaping.

Michail was quick to find gorgeous and smooth seashells by the shore.
