“Alright, let us go then, my lady,” Michail replied with a smile. “The earlier we leave, the sooner I get to finish all of this, right?”
Aphrodite kept the excited grin on her beautiful face. “Yes! And I cannot wait to feel the pleasure and adrenaline coursing through me once you start your battle with the Chimera. Your bravery, strength, and struggle will be felt within my bones, and I can only imagine the shivers and euphoria I will feel once it is over.”
Michail still had a hard time wrapping his head around the thought of the immortals feeling this kind of gratification and happiness when the mortals offered something to them or simply worshiped in words. Maybe it was also in how much sincerity was put into those actions, which in Michail’s case, he poured out his heart for the goddess.
