Chapter 104. Dangerous Thoughts
Fiona was without a doubt hooked by her kidnapper. It sounded like the premise of a dark romance novel, and it was ridiculous. But she couldn’t help it; she was beguiled, bewitched if you will, because there was something akin to witchcraft in that smile of his and the fact that it had a pull on her in the first place.
She floated about the house, unable to remember the last thing she saw, did, said, or heard. Her head was filled with thoughts of the Leopard Seal. Thoughts of those lean, strong arms, those thighs that the sight of his suit pants made her visualize, those eyes, and those hands. Oh, the things she could have him do.
This state of mind was proving rather detrimental to her work. The heat generated by her very own thoughts made it impossible to sit and work. She fought many times to keep her attention on what she was supposed to be doing, and when that proved futile, she gave up.
