Chapter 30. Saving Sara

The sun was staring down at me, radiating a lot of heat this morning. Despite the way it was cold last night, it was the exact opposite this morning.

My heart was thumping in my chest as I made my way over to the bus stop. I had written an amount on the blank check, and it was not a small number.

But if Maddie would be able to give me what I had written, then I would no doubt forget that Giveon even existed.

I didn’t care how much I was starting to like him, this kind of money could change my life for the better. It could make everything right again. I could even leave town and join a different pack for all I care.

It would be a fresh start for me, and the Moon goddess knows how much I wanted that.
