Chapter 36. I’m a Witch

I stared at the woman, trying to mentally chew on all she had just told me. All of my life, I have felt like I didn’t belong; like there was something different about me.

But now, it was all starting to make sense. I now understood why my mom treated me the way she treated me. She was just someone who had a lot of pain in her heart.

I could only imagine how she felt, or how she had been feeling this whole time. I’m not trying to excuse her crappy behavior, but honestly, imagine watching the love of your life cheat on you. 

Imagine the person you already believed you’re going to spend the rest of your life with and have kids with, goes out and cheats. And not just cheats, but gets the other woman pregnant.

If it was me personally, I’d crash out. I’d lose my mind. 

And then having to forgive your partner and take the child as your own because the woman he cheated on you with died in childbirth.

That is beyond crazy, and I now had more compassion
