The look on her face was all I needed to be able to tell that she was not going to do anything. It was like she didn’t even want to try.

Yes, I was grateful that she and I had a talk about her treating me better now, but still, Lisa was not safe. And I’m not talking about physically. She was a fragile kind of person, she won’t be able to handle a rejection or finding out that she’s being cheated on.
