Chapter 44. Cheating Bastard
It was quiet except for the hard pounding of my heart that felt like everyone could hear when in reality, it was only me who could.
My throat was dry and a knot was forming in my throat.
Lisa looked taken aback, she stared at me in disbelief and I could tell that she was trying her best to mentally process what I had said. “I don’t—I don’t get it. Dad cheated on mom before he died?” She sounded confused but also intrigued.
“Honey—-“ Mom tried to pull her away but she flinched back. She then eyed me in anger. “Sara, now is not the time. You know how fragile your sister is!” She said in annoyance.
I knew, but I didn’t care. Not now, at least. I felt like this was the best thing to do for her.
And maybe I should give you guys a little story time. So one of the reasons we call Lisa fragile is because it’s her personality and she’s soft. But mainly because she almost died from a panic attack one time. Or maybe a few other time
