Vera thought she had seen everything Jack owned. She had looked him up online, researched his net worth, and even seen his private jet worth millions. But she hadn’t expected the sight that now made her jaw drop, two magnificent, expensive yachts docked side by side.

Her wide eyes flew to Jack's face when he confirmed her thoughts.

"They’re mine," he said casually, then added with a grin, "Brand new. And I want you to be the first to enter them."

"Jack..." she started, but her voice trailed off.

He slung an arm over her shoulder possessively, nibbling gently on her earlobe.

"Come on, don’t make me feel like I shouldn’t have bought them," he murmured. "I just wanted to own everything I dreamt of as a kid."

"That’s not what I... Holy heavens, Jack!" she exclaimed. "Then why were you so stressed about the company going bankrupt? You have so much! Losing the company wouldn't have affected your lifestyle at all!"
