Chapter 23. Full Moon

THE OLD MANSION

Mrs. Willie has exhausted the entire spell in her spell book but she couldn’t ease the burning fever. Eva is no longer the only one wrestling with hallucination. Dean has joined the party.

He grabbed Mrs. Willie wanting to strangle her. He thought he was Mia, a witch who tricked him into loving her and then stole a powerful spell book from his family.

“Where’s the book, Mia!” he yelled, holding Mrs. Willie down.

She gasped and barely squeezed out. “I am not Mia.”

With a flick of her wrist, she slammed Dean off her like she did with Eva.

Just when she thought she was already free, Eva grabbed her from behind. She brought her fangs closer to her neck for a smooth puncture.

“No!” Mrs. Willie cried out. She held Eva’s head, trying to push her away.

As Eva continued to struggle to bite Mrs. Willie, she couldn’t help but whisper a few spells in her fading breath.

A tormenting song rang harshly and loudly in Eva’s ears w
