Chapter 25. The Chase

Standing over Clinton, Eva narrowed her eyes on him. “The coffin is going to be more comfortable this time.”

She bends, bringing the daemon dagger toward Clinton’s chest.

Mary lets out a violent scream that comes with a sonic wave, taking out everyone around her. Including Dean that has held her for long. She flew at the speed of sound and stood beside Rick. She scans Rick’s body for any sign of life in him. When she was done with inspecting Rick and confirming he was alive, she flew toward Clinton.

“Are you all right?” she asked.

“I will after I kill her.” His eyes narrowed toward Mrs. Willie. She’s trying to get back to her feet. Clinton couldn’t help but fly in a fit of rage.

He sprang back to his feet, moving faster than the eye could see. Before Mrs. Willie could turn around, Clinton’s hand transformed into a hairy beastly hand of beast. He buried his claws into Mrs. Willie and ripped her heart out.
