Chapter 180. The Hospital Room

Leah’s POV

I was now standing in the room, my heart thumping in my chest as I stared at the empty bed. What did this mean? Questions rushed through my head and I felt like throwing up, which has been a constant recently.

The difference was that this time, I actually did. I threw up all over the floor, and it felt good. When I was done, I wiped the corners of my mouth and turned to see a nurse walk into the room.

She looked worried. “Are you okay?” She asked, her eyes landing on the mess I had made for a few seconds before looking back at me.

“Yeah, I’m fine.” I cleared my throat. “I’m sorry about this…” I gestured to the vomit on the floor.

She waved it off. “It’s okay, I will get someone to clean it up in no time.” She was nice. “It’s a hospital, we’re used to things like that.” She chuckled.

I gave her a small smile, but I knew that I had a question to ask her. But I was so scared, what if the answer was going to wreck me?
