“You think this is going to work, do you?” Luca’s voice whipped through the air heavy with frustration and anger as he thundered into the room. His eyes were ablaze and before I could even get a word out edgeways, he was continuing, “That you’re going to waltz into Dominic’s life and everything will just fall into place?”

I winced at the tone, hadn’t expected that to flare up so suddenly. “Luca, what are you talking about?”
