Adelaide's POV

"How long will it take us to arrive there?" Since I didn't think anyone would respond, I asked nobody in particular. 

"Perhaps another half hour till we get through the trees and reach the main property," Alan gestured for a few of the men to move ahead of us. Being bored, I thought it would be funny to play about with them. 

"Well, I'm too exhausted to walk any more," I said as I sat down on the ground. The guards stopped and sighed as a result. They probably wanted to sit and rest a little since they were also exhausted.

"What do you mean? We all want to go back since we're exhausted. We don't have time to deal with you," yelled an irate Phillip. However, Alan was grinning because he found this to be humorous. 

"No, I'm not putting another foot in motion," I said, crossing my arms and looking down at Phillip. 

"I am seriously tired and don't have time for all these," Alan said at that moment. H
