Adelaide's POV

"Is this your room?" I inquired, still examining everything. 

"This room is now OURS," Denzel said with emphasis on the 'ours.' I thought he was insane as I observed him. 

"What happens if I decide not to stay in the same room as you?" I timidly inquired. I was concerned that he would try to do something that would make me uncomfortable. Additionally, I wasn't sure I wanted to share a room with a person who was essentially unknown to me. Denzel appeared upset that I would suggest something along those lines. Though I felt bad, my concern persisted.

"I'll simply spend my nights on the couch while we get to know one another. I want my mate to be content and at ease. That's okay if it means I have to sleep on the couch." Denzel gave me reassurance right away. I knew I couldn't allow him to do that because, after all, this was his room.
