Adelaide's POV

"Yates," Alan stated quietly and slowly, "I know you're very angry, but we shouldn't do this in front of Adelaide." Yates is obviously Denzel's wolf. Before glancing back at me, he looked at Yates. His eyes were so black, I could tell his wolf had complete control of him. His gaze relaxed a little until the rogue beneath him began to make an escape attempt. 

With a swift movement, he returned his focus on the rogue. Alan approached me and obscured my view of Yates and the rogue while other guards arrived to seize the other two. Alan replied, "I promise you, Adelaide, you do not want to see this," as he helped me up.

I quickly covered my face in his chest as he took me away from the wolves because I knew he was correct. Hearing only the sound of a scream, followed by a harsh growl. I shielded my ears from the noise since it reminded me of awful experiences.
