Chapter 64
Josh’s POV
I am at the airport today, waiting for Lana’s father to arrive, and I’ll bring him to Matt so we can go to Lana’s apartment together.
It didn’t take long for him to arrive; thank goodness I didn’t have to wait longer.
“Josh,” he greeted me, and I respectfully led him to my car.
“Thanks for picking me up,” he said as he settled down in the passenger seat.
“How was the flight, sir?” I asked him.
“It was fine. I just couldn’t wait to see my daughter,” he smiled weakly. I could see the love and concern in his eyes.
“I’m sorry for whatever Lana has been dealing with these days,” I said.
He sighed. “I’ve been worried about her for a while now, especially when I heard from you and Matt about her recent behavior. It confirmed my fears that something is seriously wrong.”
“I hope we can help her,” I said.
