“See you again, Ma’am. Thank you for bringing Sky here. I am very happy to get to know her.”

Before Rachel could respond, Lucas snatched the handshake.

“You’re welcome. Thank you for being Sky’s friend on this journey. I’m sure you will be a sweet memory that she will remember forever.”

Edmund almost snorted. His hand gripped Lucas’s tighter.

“Sweet children like Sky deserve sweet memories. I would be very happy if I could be a part of her other memories. The more, the better.”
