Chapter 26. Antonie Nelson
"Are you sure you don't need my help?" Andrew asked again. Making sure of me—perhaps—if my answer might change or not. Since we left earlier, Andrew had been incessantly repeating the same question.
It felt like I was getting tired of answering myself. For the last time, I responded with a sarcastic glance.
"Oh... okay. You can handle it on your own," Andrew grinned.
I let out a soft sigh in response. "The door, Andrew." When I pulled the handle, it turned out that the automatic lock hadn't been released.
"Forgot something?"
I furrowed my brow. My bag, phone, tablet, the usual essentials that a woman carries in her purse, were already inside. Nothing was left behind. So, what was it? And the answer made me reluctantly smile. Andrew reached out his hand.
