Chapter 46. Cardboard
I walked aimlessly on the road, naked and utterly devoid of dignity due to the incident I had initially resisted but ultimately went through. I found a spot to sit and hugged myself. It was dark in this area. I could still see what was happening on the street not too far away, but no one passing by was likely aware of my presence here. I didn't know where I was... where my feet had taken me. All I knew was that I was far away. Far from the home I had come from.
