Valeria's POV

On the one hand, I was curious what he looked like and whether he was really that scary. On the other hand, I didn't want to get to know him at all and if anything I just wanted to yell at him and hit him. One thing was certain, however, that our meeting would be exciting.

Today is a week over. A week in which I'm already rotting in this wet cell. A week full of boredom and despair. What is his purpose in keeping me prisoner in this cell? I'm assuming now that the alpha is also a man. Because... if a woman had kidnapped me, I wouldn't understand anything anymore.

I keep asking myself the same questions. Does he want to intimidate me? Does he enjoy watching me down here? Is he a psychopath who likes to watch his victims slowly but surely go crazy? And damn it, why am I here?
