Chapter 55. Love’s Third Law of Motion (4)
Kathleen came out of Benedict’s room petrified. For the first time, she felt afraid of that man. He didn’t lie when he said he could be terrible when he was mad. But what can she do? Bad or good, she still wanted everything about him.
When she got back to their room, Jethro wasn’t there. She was thankful because she had the time to compose herself.
Kathleen waited for Jethro, but half an hour passed without him returning. She left him busy reading, so she began to wonder where he went.
Kathleen went out of their room and looked for Jethro. And the girl saw him sitting alone near the minibar by the pool.
She worriedly approached her boyfriend, and when she got closer, she noticed a few bottles of beer and empty shot glasses beside him on a table.
‘Since what time had he been drinking? Did he drink all of those?’ Kathleen thought, puzzled.
Even with the number of empty beverages, Jethro was still drinking.
“J-Jethro, what are you doing here?”
