Chapter 42. Divorce Papers

Emma’s POV

Pulling into my park spot at the pack house my stomach is in knots. I don’t know if I feel like I am going to vomit because of what Emily told me or if it is the little bean that is growing inside of me. All I know is that if I don’t get to a toilet soon I am going to empty what little is in my stomach here in the car.

Rushing into the pack house I head straight for the bathroom, but I am stopped in my tracks by Ethan.

“Ethan,” I can feel myself turning green as he stands in my way. “I need to get to the bathroom.”

“Are you feeling better?” Ethan says not moving out of my way.

“About as good as I am going to get at the moment,” I say as I try to push past him.

“I need to talk to you,” Ethan says seriously.

“In a minute,” I beg, trying to make my way to the bathroom.

“Okay, okay,” Ethan says with his arms raised as he lets me run past him. “Meet me in my office when you are done.”
