Chapter 40. You Are Pregnant

Emma’s POV

The next several months flew by. Daniel disappeared into the wilderness and Ethan keeps me close by his side. We don’t speak of the moment outside of the Alpha’s hospital room where I caught him and Emily in the hallway. It didn’t look like a friendly conversation but I didn’t like their close proximity.

Alpha Frank pulled through but he is still weak, so Ethan has taken over all of the pack duties. He is not the official Alpha yet but it will only be a matter of time. Alpha Frank becomes weaker and weaker by the day. I offered to donate some of my blood to Alpha Frank but for some reason neither Frank or Ethan would hear of it. Their relationship is strained but neither one of them will speak about it.
