Myles POV

“The wife and kid went missing when the cousin was murdered, and the ghost has reason to believe that we took the wife and kid.” Bruno blurted out.

I honestly didn’t care about Murphy’s cousin and certainly didn’t give a rat’s ass about his wife and kid, but I was beginning to get pissed with the way that Murphy kept blaming me for everything!

“Reason?” I asked. “He has reason to believe we did that? What reason?!”

“This…” Dean reached into his jacket and pulled out a photo, which he slid across the table.

I carefully picked the picture up and examined it closely. It was the picture of a dead man, probably the dead cousin.

I can swear that I’d never even seen the man in my life! What immediately caught my eye was the initials carved on his forehead with a blade, HF with an upside-down cross directly under it. That was the mark we left on high-target rival gang members after we’d take them out.

“Did any of our boys do this?”
