Chapter 11

Mady’sPov:

We got to the river and stood on small cliff above it.

“See? Isn’t it clear and beautiful?” I turned to Brenda.

“It is…” she nodded, her arms wrapped around her.

“We should get inside,” Lisa suggested.

“Yes, we will,” I affirmed.

“Uhm…I don’t know how to swim,” Brenda said.

“But you will miss out on the fun,” I said with mock pity.

“That’s fine. You guys go in and have fun, I will wait here.”

“No my darling,” I shook my head, walking behind her slowly. “Friends don’t wait for each other to have fun. They have fun together.”

And with that, I pushed her into the water. She fell in with a loud scream and thud while we laughed. She began to struggle inside the water. We all jumped into the wate,r and I swam towards her. She was already drowning.

I held her up, and when her head was above the water, she gasped for air.

“Aww…do you want to get out of the water?” I asked, laughing.
