Chapter 13

Brenda’s Pov:

I struggled to open my eyes as the bright rays of sunlight from the window hit my face. Where am I? I tried to stand up, but my head was banging. I lay back down, but my eyes remained open. I looked around and saw Dominick on my right side, holding on tightly to my hand and sleeping.

To the other side was Jason, holding my other hand and sleeping as well. What is up with these two? I wondered. And why does my head hurt this bad? What happened?

I tried to stand up again, enduring the pains I felt all over my body. I sat up on the bed, leaning on the wall. And that was when I saw Mady, Mia, and Lisa on other beds in the room, and I began to pick up the pieces of what happened.

They almost drowned me…

And then we were attacked by some werewolves. What else happened? I groaned slowly as my head hurt more while I forced my brain to remember how I landed there.
