Chapter 49. Wanting to Be a Mother

What are you doing, dear? I have an early morning flight today.

That was the first text message that arrived on Aleah’s cell phone after three weeks of Rafael’s duties as a pilot. Aleah stared at the message notification with a sad look because she was in poor health.
