“Yes. Yes, that is everything.” I pressed my lips into a line. I was still very nervous but as I said, I felt lighter. I was not choked by my nerves anymore, I just had a pinch of them clinging to me. “What is going to happen to me?”
She smiled lopsidedly and placed the notepad down. “All this would have been dissolved and dealt with without any serious repercussions if you and the kid would have come forward the moment it all happened.”
