Logan’s POV
I was always the one in control, the one who saw things before they happened. Yet now, I was blind. Powerless. Hunted.
The ringing stopped. The silence rushed back in, heavy, suffocating. I let out a shaky breath, my shoulders slumping as I leaned back against the wall.
I covered my face with my hands, my fingers digging into my scalp, my eyes squeezing shut. I was slipping. Losing my edge.
And I had no one to blame but myself.
