Chapter 11
I watched as Vixen made her way over to one of the oversized curtains that hung from a window.
“Let me teach you one of our greatest lessons, the art of escape,” she said as she flicked her tail.
I watched in amazement as the curtain began to move as if it was blowing in the wind, then witnessed Vixen slip through the shadows of the window’s creases like a breeze.
“How do I do that?” I queried with excitement.
“Home in on your own mystic power… leave the physical world behind…” she articulated.
I did not fully understand what she was telling me, but my body reacted as if it did. I became like the summer breeze and phased through the window and out onto the small spot of the roof beneath it. I stared at her in surprise.
“Come on,” she said before she started running to the far end of the roof. I followed after her.
