The next morning, Andra woke me up and helped me get dressed. She picked out my outfit for me, not letting me go into the walk-in closet because she felt that it was embarrassingly bare due to Jormun still needing to order me clothing.
“I gave him your measurements last night, so you should have a new wardrobe in a day or two,” Andra told me.
“I still do not know why you guys are helping me,” I revealed.
“I had the same question when master took me in,” she said to me. “He found me living on the streets after my own pack tried to kill me.”
“You are a shifter?” I asked her.
“Sort of,” Andra sighed. “My father was human; my mother was a wolf,” she revealed.
“I am guessing the traditionalist did not like that,” I said to her bitterly.
“They did not,” she shook her head. “They killed my parents, but not before my parents were able to get me to safety,” she explained. “Though, safety was simply dumping me as far away from the pack as possible whe
