Chapter 64

I spent the rest of the day with Killian until just before dinner time. Our reservation for the hotel was coming to an end, so we had to bid our farewells to each other.

Killian came over to me with the Luna cell phone and handed it to me. “Please keep this on from now on,” he requested. “It would make me feel much better if I could at least text with you every so often.”

I smiled softly at the request. “I think I can manage to do that,” I told him as I took the cell phone from him. “You will be in charge of keeping me up to date with this High Arts Society, so I need to keep an open channel of communication anyway.”

“I will sign you up for attendance at their upcoming events. I will text you the details of each once I have them,” he said as he watched me put my necklace on.

“Wonderful,” I nodded. “We can discuss possibly staying here in the future after these events,” I offered. “You should be rewarded for all your hard work, right?” I smirked at him.
