Alpha Kanen’s POV
My mind raced with thoughts of Rose. Where was she? What was she thinking? And why had she left without saying anything? These questions filled my head as I continued my journey toward the mountain.
The ground became more challenging with every step, but I wasn’t about to stop now. I was too close to finding her.
The wind howled through the trees, carrying with it a strange sense of unease.
I felt as if the forest was alive, watching me, waiting for something.
I kept my senses sharp, eyes scanning the surroundings for any signs of danger.
I knew this part of the forest was unpredictable, and I wasn’t about to let my guard down again.
Suddenly, something caught my attention—a movement in the shadows.
I stopped in my tracks, eyes narrowing as I tried to focus on the figure coming out from the darkness.
My muscles tensed, and I instinctively reached for my sword, but before I could draw it, I saw what it was
