Alpha Kanen’s POV

The word “No” echoed loudly in the cave, cutting through the tension between Rose and the wizard.

Both of them turned in confusion, looking around for the source of the voice.

It was then that they saw me, standing near the entrance of the hideout, my fists clenched at my sides.

Rose’s eyes widened, and I could see the conflict across her face.

She hadn’t expected me to find her so soon. But the wizard’s expression remained calm, unreadable.

“Kanen,” Rose said, stepping forward, her voice tense. “You shouldn’t be here.” she said to me calmly.

“I’m not leaving without you,” I growled, my gaze locked on hers. “I won’t let you stay here with him.” I told her with a strong finality in my voice.

“She’s made her decision, Alpha Kanen. If you truly care about her, you’ll respect that,” the wizard said, her voice smooth and authoritative.
