Chapter 63

I sat on my chair enjoying the cool breeze of the evening, I couldn't stop thinking about what the witch said to me the last time we spoke, was she telling the truth? Was Eleanor truly dead or was she lying to me? Many thoughts raced through my mind. There was something about her reaction when I told her about one of my spies seeing Eleanor in the human world, her face carried an expression that I didn't understand.

I have waited each day for my guards to bring me good news but it's the same story. I was becoming impatient, and the feeling of wanting to see her, to look into her face and tell her she couldn't hide from me was weighing down on me.
