"Oh, mummy is here," I said cradling my crying baby, he had been crying for a while now and I wanted to put him to sleep, I paced around the room patting him on the shoulder gently so he could fall asleep. In no time I noticed he stopped crying, so I raised his head from my shoulder to see if he was sleeping.
"That's my baby" I muttered to myself as I carefully placed him on the bed, using the blankets to cover him.
I paced around the room after putting my baby to sleep, it's been days since I was brought here, and they have been treating me nicely and taking good care of my baby, but I couldn't help but feel a sense of unsettledness, I don't know the reason why I was brought here, I am not allowed to leave the house or talk too much with the maids. It's almost like I am a home prisoner here.
