King Derek’s POV

 I transformed back into my human form immediately when I saw that Eli had fainted out of fear. I had only transformed to scare so she wouldn't disobey next time, but I was surprised it got to her well.

“Take her to the room and call the doctor to check if she is okay” I gestured to the guards. “Get me a new set of clothes from my room” I added.

There was this strong feeling lingering on my mind as I watched them carry her out of the room, I couldn't understand it, it was almost as if I had pitied her, which was confusing to me. I haven't felt any atom of sympathy towards anyone for a long time, but there is something about her that makes me want to protect her.
