I flinched and moved my head back, feeling sickened at how close his face was to mine. “Jerry, p-please just let me go. I swear, I won’t tell anyone what happened. I promise I’ll be very quiet, please.” I managed to beg in between shallow breaths, while maintaining eye contact with him as I pleaded to be released. “Please. I’m begging you…”
But he ignored my cries and pleas as he secured the rope to both of my wrists. He took extra precautions and also tied my ankle to the leg of his bed, effectively making me lose all hopes of running away.
“This place is where you belong now! And I will never let you go again!” he hissed, looking me straight in the eyes. “Just listen to everything that I’m saying, understand?”
