The Medici family was indeed powerful. After all, they ran the underground world. Lucas Medici led the family after his father's death.

His mother died while giving birth to him, and his father later remarried due to a treaty with a Mexican family. His wife, Maria, gave birth to Sabrina. Lucas was as cold and heartless as they came—and, worst of all, unpredictable.

The day his heart started beating differently was the day he met her, dancing in a club with no care in the world. His first intention was to take her for the night, but that changed when he discovered she was Black.
